1. What Yoked is for
Yoked exists so Christian singles in East Texas can meet safely and intentionally, with marriage as the goal. Everything below flows from that one purpose. Use Yoked for that, and you will never bump into a single rule on this page.
2. No illegal activity. Period.
You may not use Yoked to engage in, promote, facilitate, solicit, or arrange any illegal activity of any kind, under any local, state, federal, or international law. This applies to your profile, your messages, your conduct at events, your conduct on Yoked dates, and any use of our website, application, or services.
Without limiting that blanket rule, the following are expressly prohibited:
- Fraud and financial crime. Romance scams, investment or cryptocurrency scams, phishing, identity theft, impersonation, money laundering, soliciting money or financial information from members, and any deceptive practice intended to obtain money, property, or personal data
- Commercial sex and exploitation. Prostitution, escorting, solicitation, promotion of commercial sexual services, human trafficking and sex trafficking of any kind
- Crimes against children. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, grooming, sexualization of minors, and any sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor. Yoked is for adults 18 and over without exception, and violations in this category are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement
- Violence and threats. Threats of violence, incitement, stalking, harassment, extortion, blackmail, sexual violence, and non-consensual intimate content, whether real or fabricated
- Illegal goods and services. The sale, purchase, or promotion of illegal drugs, illegal weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or stolen data
- Intellectual property and privacy violations. Infringing others' copyrights or trademarks, and publishing another person's private information without consent (doxxing)
- Attacks on the service. Unauthorized access, credential theft, malware, scraping member data, automated account creation, and any attempt to probe, disrupt, or circumvent our security or safety systems
Zero tolerance. Anyone who uses Yoked for illegal activity will be removed immediately and permanently, without a refund, and will be reported to law enforcement where the law requires or permits it.
3. How members treat each other
- Be who you say you are. One account, your real name, your real photos, your real age. No impersonation, no fake or duplicate accounts.
- Adults only. Every member is 18 or older and identity-verified. Never attempt to bring a minor into any part of Yoked.
- No harassment. When someone says no to a conversation, an introduction, or anything else, that no stands. No repeated unwanted contact, on or off the platform.
- No hate. No content or conduct that attacks people. Disagreement is human; degradation is not welcome here.
- No sexual content. Profiles, messages, and photos stay appropriate. This is a matchmaking service for people pursuing marriage, not a place for explicit material.
- No commercial use. No advertising, solicitation, recruiting, multi-level marketing, fundraising, or promoting outside services to members. Membership is for finding a spouse, not customers.
4. Reporting
Every member can report a profile, a message, or an incident from inside the app, or by writing hello@yokedmatchmaking.com. Reports are read by Daniel and Jennifer personally. If someone makes you feel unsafe, tell us. You will never be penalized for reporting in good faith.
5. Enforcement
We review every report and we act on what we find, up to and including immediate, permanent removal without a refund. For anything illegal, we preserve records and cooperate with law enforcement as described in our Law Enforcement Guidelines. We may also decline, suspend, or end any membership to protect the safety and integrity of the community, as set out in the Membership Terms.
