Two oxen pulling the same plow have to be matched in strength and direction, otherwise the field never gets plowed straight. Marriage works the same way. Yoked exists to help believers find someone pulling in the same direction: toward Christ, toward marriage, toward a life of shared faith.

How our matchmaking works
- Apply. A thoughtful, faith-centered application covering your faith, your family, your values, and what you're looking for. Set aside about 30 minutes.
- Get approved. Founders Daniel & Jennifer Minter personally read every application. We verify your government ID and screen you against the national and Texas sex offender registries. Not everyone gets in, and that's the point.
- Get connected. Attend members-only events across East Texas and receive intentional, prayed-over introductions when we see a genuinely compatible match.

Yoked members come from across the region: Tyler, Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Jacksonville, Athens, Canton, Mineola, and the communities in between. Our singles events rotate through the area so real conversations can happen close to home.

This is the rule that makes Yoked different from every app you have tried, and it runs in both directions. While you are talking to someone, we will not introduce you to anyone else, and we will not introduce them to anyone else either. Nobody is keeping you as an option. Nobody is keeping them as one.
Every dating app wants you juggling five conversations at once, because your attention is what they sell. We are not selling your attention. We think you can only really see one person at a time, so that is all we will ever ask you to do.
When we introduce you, that's it. You're matched. Their name, their photos, their profile, and a conversation already open. Nothing to accept, nobody to wait on. Within about a week you pick a first date from places we've lined up, so you show up to something certain. Go on the date and you keep talking for as long as it's working. More dates, events, group nights out, no clock. Decide it isn't right, and it closes quietly and we start looking again.

How much does Yoked cost?
Applying is free. The first 50 approved members pay half price for their first two months. That is $25 a month. Membership is $50/month after that. Cancel anytime.
How are matches made?
By people, not algorithms. Daniel & Jennifer read your story, pray over compatibility, and only make an introduction when they see something genuinely promising. Both people consent before anything is shared.
Is it safe?
Every approved member is personally reviewed, has their government ID verified, and is screened against the national and Texas sex offender registries. There are no public profiles. Your information is only shared through an introduction, with your consent.
Can I talk to more than one person at a time?
No, and that is the point. While you are talking to someone, we will not introduce you to anyone else, and we will not introduce them to anyone else either. You are never one of five conversations, and neither are they.
How long do I have to talk to someone?
About a week. Long enough to know whether you want to meet, short enough that you actually will. Within that week you plan a real first date together and pick where you're going. If it goes well, you keep talking with no time limit.
