Because every attendee has been through our application and vetting process, you can skip the "so, do you actually go to church?" conversation and start from shared faith.
We don't publish our venues or times publicly, and we never will. A vetted room stops being vetted the moment anyone can find the door. Approved members get the full calendar and their invitations by email, which is exactly the protection every person already in the room was promised.

This is the rule that makes Yoked different from every app you have tried, and it runs in both directions. While you are talking to someone, we will not introduce you to anyone else, and we will not introduce them to anyone else either. Nobody is keeping you as an option. Nobody is keeping them as one.
Every dating app wants you juggling five conversations at once, because your attention is what they sell. We are not selling your attention. We think you can only really see one person at a time, so that is all we will ever ask you to do.
When we introduce you, that's it. You're matched. Their name, their photos, their profile, and a conversation already open. Nothing to accept, nobody to wait on. Can I see the calendar before I join?
No, and that is deliberate. A vetted room stops being vetted the moment anyone can find the door. Once you are approved, you get the full calendar and your invitations by email.
How much do events cost?
It depends on the event. Some are free and some are ticketed. You'll always see the price before you RSVP. Venues have their own costs too, like your coffee or dinner. Some nights we open to the waiting list as well, and we say so on the invitation.
Can I talk to more than one person at a time?
No, and that is the point. While you are talking to someone, we will not introduce you to anyone else, and we will not introduce them to anyone else either. You are never one of five conversations, and neither are they.
How long do I have to talk to someone?
About a week. Long enough to know whether you want to meet, short enough that you actually will. Within that week you plan a real first date together and pick where you're going. If it goes well, you keep talking with no time limit.
